In this section only CAL FIRE major incidents are posted. For fires burning in federal jurisdictions including National Forests visit our Major Federal Incident Page. Everyday CAL FIRE responds to nearly 1,000 emergency incidents a day. Many of these are completed in a short amount of time with the initial emergency equipment dispatched. It is not until an incident becomes an extended attack incident that information will be posted.
